Renshaw GAR Post #33 was formed in Beaufort County in 1889. It was named for USN Captain R.T. Renshaw.   ______ Wilson served as the original Commander of the post, which met in Washington, NC. In 1890, the post reported a membership of 14. The post continued to operate until 1899 or 1900.
